CTE Entrepreneurship and Sublimation Curriculum Kit Grades 4-12
A sublimation production kit paired with a standards-aligned Career and Technical Education curriculum covering grades 4 through 12. Includes the heat press machine, sublimation tumblers with all accessories, and a professionally designed curriculum guide with printable worksheets and business planning tools.
What's Included:
- The 8-in-1 Heat Press Machine features a 15x15 inch swing-away design with a dual-zone heating system for fast, even heat distribution. Adjustable pressure accommodates any material thickness. The 360-degree rotating swing arm and anti-scald panel design keep hands safely away from the heating surface. Built-in auto-shutoff prevents overheating. Includes interchangeable attachments for t-shirts, hats, caps, mugs, bottles, and plates.
- The Premium Sublimation Tumblers are food-grade stainless steel with a heat sublimation coating, 8-hour hot and 12-hour cold insulation, sealed silicone ring, and zero-leak lid design. Each tumbler comes with a straight straw, cleaning brush, lid, base, shrink wraps, gift box, and gift ribbon for a fully finished, gift-ready product.

Additional Supplies Needed (sold separately):
Sublimation markers are required to create designs. These contain special ink that bonds permanently with the tumbler's coating under heat. Regular markers will not work. Plain copy paper is used as the drawing surface (do not use sublimation paper with sublimation markers). Heat-resistant tape is needed to secure designs during pressing. Heat-resistant gloves are strongly recommended for all students and required for grades 4-6. Optional supplies include Teflon sheets for press protection and additional sublimation blanks (t-shirts, mugs, plates, hats) to use with the other press attachments.
The 21-page CTE Entrepreneurship and Applied Design Curriculum Guide covers three grade bands: upper elementary (grades 4-6, with full adult supervision required for all heat press operation), middle school (grades 6-8), and high school (grades 9-12). Each grade band includes learning objectives, activities written specifically for this kit, and alignment to CTE Entrepreneurship and Business Management standards, NGSS (states of matter, phase changes, heat transfer), CCSS Math (measurement, unit costs, ratios, profit/loss analysis), CCSS ELA (observation writing, persuasive pitches, business plans), and National Core Arts Standards.
The curriculum follows three integrated learning tracks: Applied Design and Production (graphic design fundamentals, color theory, sublimation science, and hands-on production), Science of Heat Transfer (phase transitions, molecular energy, material science), and Entrepreneurship and Business (cost analysis, pricing, branding, marketing, and sales). Students progress from creating their first tumbler in elementary to launching a small business with a product line, marketing campaign, and profit/loss analysis in high school.
Includes 8 printable worksheets: My First Design, Production Checklist, Cost and Pricing Calculator, Brand Identity Builder, Business Plan Snapshot, Marketing Campaign Planner, Production Log, and Design Portfolio Page. The guide also includes a full safety section with grade-specific supervision requirements, a Safety Certification Checklist for students authorized to operate the press, the science of sublimation explained at every grade level, and detailed setup instructions.
Designed for homeschool families, CTE classrooms, maker spaces, art programs, and after-school entrepreneurship programs. Curriculum guide delivered digitally as a PDF after purchase.
