A free downloadable curriculum from The Sensory Site that turns weighted plush, squish fidgets, and slime into a complete sensory learning and self-regulation program. It works with any weighted plush, any squish fidgets, and any slime, store-bought or homemade, so you can use the tools you already have.
The guide runs two tracks side by side. The Regulation track uses the tools for calming and focus, deep-pressure comfort from the weighted buddies, tactile focus from the fidgets, and soothing input from slime, while the Science track uses the same tools to teach real content, from sensory vocabulary in PreK up through states of matter, polymers, non-Newtonian fluids, and rheology by high school.
Inside you'll find five grade bands (PreK-K, 1-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12) with goals, objectives, and hands-on activities; a clear weighted-tool safety guide; the science of why deep pressure calms; a Therapeutic Applications section with an IEP goal bank; an inclusive PDA-friendly section with invitation-based alternatives; ten printable worksheets; and standards alignment to NGSS, CCSS, CASEL, Head Start ELOF, and National Health Education Standards.

How long does shipping take?

We offer a multitude of top-notch brands and “shop small” whenever possible. For this reason, our learning tools have a variety of processing and ship times. Why didn't I receive my entire order?
It's coming, we promise! Items ship from multiple warehouses and ship as they become available so that you don't have to wait for all of your goodies to arrive if an item is on backorder or handmade.
